Scandinavian Design Coat Rack

Scandinavian Design Coat Rack

I created this coatrack in partnership with my sister, who runs a successful interior design business. She brought her expertise to the project, and together we crafted a truly exceptional piece. The majority of it is made from steel, which doesn't quite fit this website's focus, but it does feature a few printed components. Some additional details are worth noting: - I included a cutlist for anyone who doesn't have access to SolidWorks (the picture should give you an idea). - The main framework is constructed from 20x20mm square tubing. - You'll need approximately 12 meters of material to create this exact configuration. The coatrack stands at 1700mm tall, 1000mm wide, and 600mm deep. The smaller second shelf measures 400x600mm and sits 350mm above the bottom shelf. To build it as designed, you'll need: - A 3D printer - A saw or angle grinder - A welder (I used TIG) - Paint - A woodsaw to cut the shelves to size (the shop where I bought the wood cut them to size for me)
