Erected by Chares of Lindos in the year 280 BC, this iconic monument was a symbol of power and grandeur. Today, a smaller version of this masterpiece can be found in a quaint souvenir shop on the same island, purchased during the summer of 2014 as part of the #SouvenirsChallenge.
