Scan of 19th century St. Joseph Statue
thingiverse
This replica of St. Joseph was transported to Louisiana from France by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Medaille in the 19th century and now stands on our campus, thanks to a student who used a 3D Systems Sense scanner to capture its image. The scan data was then polished using Meshmixer before being printed. The printer used for this project is a MakerBot Replicator 2X, with rafts enabled and supports built in for added stability during the printing process.
