Scalpel holder (pegboard or wall mounted)
thingiverse
A reliable and effortless holder for scalpels up to 250mm long, including blade length. It will securely fit scalpels and hobby knives up to 4.3mm thick, but you can easily adjust the model's Y-axis if you need to hold thicker ones with rubber-coated handles. The funnel shape expertly guides the scalpel, making it incredibly easy to place. The center cutout makes picking up the holder a breeze. Internally, the holder features a subtle tilt that matches common scalpel handle shapes, effectively offloading pressure on the blade and helping keep it sharp for longer. A clear and simple blade symbol clearly indicates the correct direction for the scalpel, allowing you to easily mirror the model if you're left-handed or prefer the blade to the right. The mounting holes are precisely counterbored to fit the mounting screws perfectly, avoiding any contact with the scalpel blade. The model is designed specifically for standard pegboards with a 12mm center hole distance; the pegboard shown in the photo is from Biltema. If you require an adaptation for other pegboard sizes, just let me know. You can also mount it directly on the wall, on a piece of wood, inside a drawer, or even on a wooden robot designed to destroy humanity. Have fun and stay safe! P.s. The ringing effect in the photo is due to fast printing at 125mm/s. Print Settings Printer: RigidBot Rafts: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 25% Notes: You can print it without supports, but it may look better with them. If you have a smaller printer, try rotating the model 45 degrees (so it points to an X/Y corner) to help get it to fit.
