A secure and user-friendly holder for scalpels up to 250mm long (including blade) is available. It will accommodate scalpels and hobby knives up to 4.3mm thick, but you can scale the model in Y-axis if you need it to hold thicker ones like those with rubber-coated handles. The conical shape directs the scalpel and makes it very easy to place. The central cutout allows for effortless pick-up. Internally, the holder has a slight tilt to match common scalpel handles, which helps offload pressure on the blade and keeps it sharp longer. A simplified blade symbol clearly indicates in which direction the scalpel should be inserted - mirror the model if you are left-handed or prefer the blade to the right. The mounting holes are counterbored to completely fit the mounting screws, avoiding contact with the scalpel blade. This model is designed for standard pegboards using 12mm center hole distance; the pegboard in the photo is from Biltema. If requested, I can adapt it for other pegboard sizes. You can also mount it directly on a wall, on a piece of wood, inside a drawer, or on any surface you prefer.
