Scalp Massager
pinshape
I scoured the web for a printable head scratcher, but couldn't find one. So, I decided to create my own. This design can be printed at 10% infill and requires six bars. You'll need a 6x6 build plate to print all six bars simultaneously. To prevent warping, I recommend printing the bars with skirts. My first attempt at printing the bars resulted in some minor warping near the end of the print, which made a mess. However, when I printed them with four shell skirts, they stuck to the build plate and turned out fine. The bars are designed to fit easily into the handle, so you'll need some CA or epoxy to glue them in place. I used five-minute epoxy and after it dried, I applied an acetone vapor treatment to the entire assembly, which resulted in a beautiful finish. Finally, be sure to lightly sand the tips of the bars to prevent scratching your skin.
