Scallop Tile Cutter
thingiverse
This is the first thing I've ever designed, hence it being incredibly simple! My friend makes ceramics and wanted to make a splashback of scallop or fish scale tiles, so I created this for her. Needless to say it does not require any supports and printed nicely at 0.2 layer height in standard PLA. I've included 3 widths (10cms, 11cms, & 11.5cms) and the size of each is noted on the tab at the bottom of the cutter. This was so all 3 could be printed and experimented with, as although the size difference is not much it would make it easier to judge which one gave the most satisfactory size once shrinkage of the clay was taken in to account.
