Scalextric dunlop bridge riser 4 lane extender
thingiverse
This model was created to lift up the Scalextric pedestrian bridge to fit over a 4-lane slot car track. Two files are available: one for color printing with dual color printer, and a taller file for more clearance. I recommend printing in yellow, then applying a black or gray primer for the stone work and finishing with a light dry brushing on the final parts. Both files were printed at a .3 resolution with 10% infill and took approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete one side. The base of this model is based on thingiverse.com's thing:30584, with stairs added and the back sliced off to allow for cars to pass through. This bridge is compatible with various track configurations: - scalextric_dunlop_bridge_riser_4_lane_extender.stl can be printed with 5mm brim settings without issues. - It is intended for use on a level track that sits directly on the ground, such as a routed wood track. A taller option called tall_dunlop_bridge_extesion.stl may be necessary for tracks that sit slightly higher than the bridge. For detailed brick fans, 2_small_brick_scalextric_dunlop_bridge_riser.stl is a great alternative. It offers a more intricately designed but slightly larger footprint to support smaller brick designs on taller tracks.
