Scalextric Cable Holder

I built a device that securely attaches a cable to a half-straight piece of Scalextric track. I required a method to fasten power cables to the track for my pedal-powered Scalextric systems. This connector was created and works perfectly for me. To fit this clamp, you need to remove the edge of the Scalextric track using a Dremel tool. It clamps with M4 machine screws (and nuts) and M3 machine screws (and nuts). The nuts are embedded in the base using a soldering iron to melt them into place.
