Ring sizes have an inner diameter of 20 mm, making silver or gold ideal materials to use. Gold used in these rings weighs approximately 17.4 grams for 14k and 20.8 grams for 18k, with silver 925 Sterling coming in at 14 grams for the same ring size. Model volumes for a 20 mm ring measure 1348,641 cubic millimeters, allowing designers to test its shape with prototypes in STL format from this model's design data. RP Magics software was used to repair any geometric errors found and heal broken areas within the 3D print of the ring model, which is available here now.
