I designed this rhombus-based pattern for anyone who needs it, just like I did with my hexagonal scale mail. The rhombus design is already tiled, so you can print it and start using it right away - no assembly required. You're free to scale the design to whatever dimensions you need. Just keep in mind that some users have experienced issues with elephant foot, which can get stuck between the small spaces between each scale. This means you'll need a knife to pry them apart. To avoid this problem, make sure your build plate is level. If you're having trouble with the design, post a comment and I'll adjust it when I have time to add more space between the scales. Printing on glass can also enhance the design - the glossy color of the scales will likely look great.
