This box/casing for Arduino Mega 2560 and Ramps 1.4 is a highly compact version of the Scalar - Electronic Box for MEGA+RAMPS+LCD2004. Features It's compatible with 80mm fans, providing a boost to airflow within the system. Can hold both Ramps 1.4 and Arduino Mega boards, accommodating multiple functions. The 80mm fan blows directly over the Stepper motor drivers and power transistors, maximizing performance. These 80mm fans offer excellent airflow strength and are easily found online, unlike smaller 40mm fans. This design allows users to easily swap out different sized fans, such as 120mm models, using convertion adaptors from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:21112. The back plate features specific holes for LCD2004 wires and some additional airflow spaces for improved cooling. The base of the box has standard-sized 4mm diameter holes, permitting attachment to surfaces with ease, and making it ideal for projects that require solid grounding like http://www.3dmodularsystems.com/project-idea-with-flat-base/. Three-dimensional layout features flat-headed screws and easy-drilling points on the base plate allowing users lay it flat as they see fit. Holes along each side allow access to wires and components, facilitating connection during build. Components Required: Nuts & Bolts: You will need a number of M3x8 screws for fastening together all parts of the casing, covering all four sides smoothly. Four more M3x10mm screws should be secured to hold the top cover securely. While building, super glue may be used along with screws; but what we use are nuts & bolts. The nuts are just for added long term stability. We will remove them as needed. For re-use of components, we suggest the screw is removed if and when not required. To have sides separate while using the system you can print only a left panel and have a duplicate on one side.
