This compact enclosure for Arduino Mega 2560 and Ramps 1.4 is a scaled-down version of the Scalar - Electronic Box for MEGA+RAMPS+LCD2004 (https://www.myminifactory.com/object/v1-v2-0-scalar-electronic-box-for-mega-ramps-lcd2004-37873). Features: It's compatible with 80mm fans. Can hold both Ramps 1.4 and Arduino Mega boards securely. The 80mm fan is blowing directly over the Stepper motor drivers and power transistors, providing excellent airflow. These 80mm fans are chosen because they're easily found and offer strong, smooth airflow compared to 40mm fans. The size of the fan also matches the Ramps width, making it perfect for this box. The back plate has special holes for LCD2004 wires, allowing for easy connection. It also provides additional holes for improved airflow. The base holes are 4mm in diameter, enabling you to use 3.5mm wood screws or M3/M4 screws to secure the box to any surface needed. This box is designed to be laid flat, and the holding holes are made to attach it to a wooden plate using 3.5x10 wood screws with a flat head. Side holes allow for easy insertion of wires into the Ramps board. What you'll need - Nuts and bolts: You will require a collection of M3x8 screws to assemble all the faces of the box. Additionally, you will need 4 M3x10mm screws to attach the top of the box. You can also use glue to seal the sides together; superglue works well. We use both screws and glue in our assembly process. The glue provides long-term durability, while the screws hold the parts together during the drying process. Once the glue is dry, you can remove the screws if desired for reuse. If you want the two sides to have holes, you can print a symmetrical version of the left side panel.
