Scalar - Pencil Sharpener Holder / Stand

This is a pencil sharpener holder designed for 14 and 17mm metal pencil sharpeners, as shown in the accompanying photo. Why do we need a holder for this type of item? We're using it to prepare plastic filament before swapping it out, which allows for smoother insertion into hot ends. When we use it, we often misplace it after every use. With this support, we know exactly where it is. It's designed to fit on Scalar Family 3D printers but will also work on compatible 3030 aluminum extrusion. You'll find at least two sizes: 14.5mm and 17mm widths. There are also two types of holders available - the full version, which fits on three sides of the extrusion, and the half version, which has a left side with a M6x12mm screw. We've included .rsdoc cad files so you can remix and tweak it to your liking. You can open these files using DesignSpark Mechanical, a free CAD software powered by SpaceClaim and offered by Radiospares.
