## Description This part is a blower fan duct mount designed specifically for 40mm axial fans compatible with the Scalar family of 3D printers (Scalar S, Scalar L, Scalar XLPremium). ## Where to Install Them You will find two parts: * 40mmFanHolder_Front.stl * 40mmFanHolder_Back-2.stl These mounts are designed to be installed on either the front or back of the X carriage. However, it is essential to note that the air flow angle differs depending on whether you install the front or back part. ## What Are the Other Cases Where I Need This Part? You will need the back part if you plan to install the 3DTox nozzle. The 3DTox nozzle replaces the front fan, and the relocated front fan is mounted at the back of the carriage. In this scenario, you require the "back" part to orient the fan airflow towards the hot end nozzle, ensuring optimal airflow by pushing particules towards the 3Dtox nozzle. ## Requirements You will need: * 2 x 3 X12mm screws for plastic * 4 x 3 x16mm screws for plastic ## Updates The original post was created on August 8th, 2018. # Compatibility This part is compatible with the Scalar Family of 3D Printers (Scalar S, Scalar L, Scalar XL, Scalar XLPremium).
