The user-friendly design allows creation in various materials, plus no 2D drawing conversions are needed for standard versions. However, the model's complexity may slow rebuilding; it is advised to change the equations file first before starting a new drawing. To convert drawings to Adobe Illustrator, border colors should be changed to blue as there are numerous border lines in the cutting mat. Inkscape can also be used for editing drawings.
