Protective Cover for Small 12V Lead Acid Batteries - This project contains three battery sizes. Print Settings: Printer: Orbot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 15% Notes: Print in PLA or ABS. Post-Printing: The OpenScad file is included for customization. This project was designed to provide an unobtrusive protective cover for lead acid battery terminals, preventing accidental short circuits and electrical shock. It can be used with the Solar Charge Box project (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:924112). The project is flexible: edit the scad file and modify the "COVERSTYLE=x" variable to choose between a full encapsulating guard or a flat guard that sits on top of a battery. Edit the "OUTPUT=" variable to select your desired battery type or size. Available sizes include: 12V 12Ah battery 12V 7 or 7.5 Ah battery 12V 3.2 Ah battery Use double-sided tape to adhere the guard to the battery if necessary.
