I've crafted a supersized i3 style printer, and fashioned the y carriage from discarded 2020 extrusions salvaged from the old smaller frame. This component attaches SC8UU bearings to the underside of said 2020. The fit is quite loose in order to prevent warping a Drylin bearing. Carefully tightening with an M3 screw / nylock will secure them firmly.
