This extra long bracket holds SC12LUU and its shorter version together, providing a long linear bearing for a 12mm rod that supports the build plate as it glides along. This reduces the rocking motion on the build plate frame, making it run smoother. If you replace the bearings with igus or similar ones, the movement becomes much more fluid. To assemble this part, you first bolt the bearing blocks to the rear of the plate and then attach the entire assembly to 3030 extrusion using 6mm bolts.
