I scoured the internet to find a US plane for my son's A6M Zero dogfight, so I hunted down a free 3D .STL file of an SBD Dauntless. I found a suitable model on ShareCG created by Neil Wilson and I tweaked it to make it printable with no fuss. With careful planning, I set up the printing process in separate parts and now my son can't wait to take his Zero into battle alongside his newly minted Dauntless against any foe at Midway.
