Saxon Monastery

The miniature depicts a Saxon monastery during the reign of King Alfred the Great, making it suitable for use in military or wargaming scenarios involving models in the 28mm scale. As seen in the accompanying image, Gripping Beast Vikings are among the types of figures that can be depicted alongside this model. To achieve an accurate representation, I drew upon my interpretation of an artist's reconstruction based on an archaeologist's estimation of what a monastery might have looked like in the region.
