Saxon Dobsonian 10" DSC Parts

There are two forum posts on Cloudy Nights about making your own Digital Setting Circles. This is my take for my Saxon Dobsonian. This will work with either solution If you have a Saxon dob and want to make your own. [$37 Dobsonian DSC for DIY makers][DIY1] [DIY Digital setting circles Wifi Bluetooth with 2 encoders][DIY2] One of the handles was removed and replaced with a M10 hex bolt. You can see this in the pictures. The thread on the M10 bolts needs to be to the end. Some hex bolts have a little extra unthreaded bit at the end which won't screw into the rocker box. I replaced the standard washers with 51100 Thrust Bearings which you can buy from aliexpress or ebay. I've used a caliper and measured the bolt to get a precise fit with the 3d files. You may need to adjust the hex head holes to fit your bolts. If you aren't familiar with CAD you can use tinkercad to accomplish this. Measure up your bolt hex head, open the stl file in tinkercad. Drop in a hexagon shape from the menu. Adjust the sizes to match your bolt with a little extra for tolerance, then cut it out and export for printing. For calculating the steps. The larger pulley is 250 teeth and the smaller one on the encoder is 20. The rest of the parts follow on from the two cloudy nights threads.
