Saxon Burh Market

These structures are crafted specifically for use with 28mm miniature figures and depict the commercial sector of a Saxon stronghold during the era of Alfred the Great's reign amidst Viking invasions. A stable, smithy with anvil and fire, as well as multiple generic stalls/buildings, are included. They were printed in PLA simply because that was the material available at the time! Note: The modular wooden walls are not contained within this .stl file but can be found in a separate posting on Thingiverse. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Fine Notes: It is recommended that this .stl be printed out in sections, hence it remains unmerged. The walls, wooden beams, and roofs have been flattened before printing, while the forge, barrels, and anvil have been moved for separate printing. This method allows for rearranging the buildings into different configurations to enhance the stronghold. Post-Printing: Painting: The models are primed/undercoated in gesso and painted with acrylics, finishing with a matt varnish to withstand the rigors of the wargaming table.
