Saxon Burh Hut (on Roman Walls)

Saxon Burh Hut (on Roman Walls)

cults3d

These structures are crafted for use with 28 millimeter miniature figurines and depict a Saxon hut of the Alfred the Great period during the Viking invasions. Constructed against the remnants of a Roman wall, they draw inspiration from Uhtred's musings about London as portrayed in Bernard Cornwell's 'The Last Kingdom' series of novels. The chapel is compatible with the Saxon Burh fort and other buildings available within Cults3D. It was produced using PLA material solely due to availability at that time! (the figure is a 28 millimeter plastic Viking warrior from the Gripping Beast wargaming collection, though some paint has been added for effect)
