Saxon Burh Hut (on Roman Walls)
thingiverse
These buildings are designed specifically to work with 28mm wargames figures and accurately represent a Saxon hut from the time of Alfred the Great's era during the Viking invasions. Constructed against the backdrop of Roman wall ruins, this creation was inspired by Uhtred's musings about London in Bernard Cornwell's "The Last Kingdom" series. The chapel is fully compatible with other Saxon Burh fort and building models found on Thingiverse. This model was printed using PLA filament due to its availability at the time. A 28mm plastic Viking figure from the Gripping Beast wargaming collection serves as a prop, with additional paint added for visual enhancement.
