This fortified gateway serves as a companion piece to the modular Saxon Burh Walls that have already been uploaded, offering an open entrance ideal for marauding vikings. As with its predecessor, this model represents a gateway for a Saxon fortified town/burh during the era of Alfred the Great in Wessex, amidst the viking invasions. It has been scaled to accommodate 28mm wargaming or model figures. This package also includes a half-wall that was inadvertently omitted from the original upload due to forgetfulness. To create a complete burh using this gateway, you will need to incorporate the half-wall or other curved wall sections, as it provides an essential entry and exit point for models.
