This structure is crafted for deployment alongside 28mm miniatures used in wargames simulations. It accurately depicts a Saxon hut characteristic of the time period dominated by Alfred the Great during Viking invasions. This dwelling represents the humble abode of a struggling Saxon peasant. The design seamlessly integrates with my Saxon Burh fort and various buildings available on Thingiverse, which can be located by searching for 'Burh.' This structure was successfully printed in PLA. On February 27, 2018, errors were corrected in two components (front and back), potentially leaving minor gaps. Printer Specifications: Printed using: Flashforge Creator Pro Resolution: Fine Assembly and Post-Printing Instructions: Best results achieved by printing flat and assembling the kit with glue. Painting Guidelines: The surface was undercoated with gesso, painted with acrylics, and finished with a matte varnish for optimal use on wargaming tables.
