This rustic barn is designed for 28mm wargaming scenery areas, with the potential to be used in various periods from medieval times onward. The building's style is reminiscent of Saxon byres and will likely suit any upmarket landholder, possibly even wealthy monks residing at a local monastery. In contrast, this second barn caters more to market vendors, featuring less well-squared timber and a thatched roof for added authenticity. Both structures can be mixed and matched as desired, with the included base providing additional stability if needed. When placed side by side, they will stand independently without any issues. I would like to extend my gratitude to Erik and Halfdan, two Viking miniatures from Gripping Beast, who frequently appear in my photographs, often sticking their noses into frame.
