Saxon Barn 1

This barn is one of two Saxon-style byres designed for 28mm wargaming scenery areas. This style will be suitable for various periods, from mediaeval to beyond, until metal-framed barns became the norm. I have built two - this upscale one for affluent landholders, likely wealthy monks residing at a nearby monastery, and another more rustic model intended for market-goers. The latter features less refined timber and a thatched roof. Both structures come with a feeding trough. Although designed to work together seamlessly, I've kept them separate to prevent confusion. A base is included, but they can stand freely without it.
