This model is one of two medieval barns / byres designed for the 28mm wargaming scenery area, though this style will be suitable for any period from ancient to modern - until they started building barns with metal frames. I built two - this one for a wealthy landowner, probably rich monks at the monastery, and another one for a rural market - same style but less well-cut timber, and with a thatched roof. And it's got a feeding trough. The two models will mix-and-match if needed, but I kept them separate to avoid confusion. I included a base but they'll stand free without it. Thanks to Erik and Halfdan, the Viking Gripping Beast miniatures who stick their noses in most of my pictures.
