Saxo synth

thingiverse

This innovative musical instrument, saxophone-based, was developed at Paris's FabLab with Matthieu Metzger. To create it, cut the Ai file using a laser cutter; attach buttons to the main body part, wire everything together, connect to an Arduino, upload the program, and secure the box. After adding keys, play music via headphones, a small speaker, or a talk-box. The instrument is made of 3mm medium wood without built-in speakers, only featuring a jack or MIDI output. As it's still in development, some features may change. Check it in action at this Vimeo link: https://vimeo.com/55108420
