Headland Archaeology was commissioned by English Heritage to conduct a Level 1 Historic building survey at Sawley Abbey, Clitheroe. The task involved documenting the consolidation work done on several walls in the north-west part of the abbey and assessing the current condition of the remains of a tiled floor situated in the chapels making up the north and south transepts.
