Sawed Off Guass Rifle
thingiverse
After hearing feedback from Void Marines and other warriors about boarding actions, engineers headed back to the drawing board. The quickest solution was to build a new rifle based on an alien rail gun design. The barrel was cut in half so it could be used in tight corridors on ships and space hulks. A reflex scope, enhanced compensator, extended box magazine, and a port for an external power source were added. The new sawed-off Gauss rifle can be easily carried by Void Marines already wearing bulky void suits in low-gravity environments. Although the accuracy of the weapon has been severely degraded at range, its rate of fire and deeper magazine have made up for this in standard sub-100-meter engagement zones. A power supply port on the stock is 0.6mm in diameter, so it should fit a 23-gauge or higher wire inside, allowing you to run it to your miniature's backpack. This rifle is best reserved for heroes or special troops, as it was designed to be a semi-automatic rail gun with an endless magazine. The creator of this model simply needed a weapon to take down Terminator armor and Genestealers in various Space Hulk scenarios for their rogue trader boarding team, and they figured that shooting tungsten bolts through them would do the trick.
