Story sticks to quickly raise/lower a saw mill blade to the proper starting depth. Cut off top layer of bark, then use this to set the saw blade, then set magnetic ruler (or just use this device for each subsequent cut). First version is 3/4" on one side, flip it over and 1" on the opposing side. The second version is 2" on one side, flip it over and 1-1/16" on the opposing side. Color code text by filament change 1.25mm from the top.
