Saw jig for 3mm rod
thingiverse
This tool grips a 3mm rod firmly, making precise cuts at 15mm and 30mm a breeze. I've personally put this tool to the test by using it to cut through 3mm carbon rods with ease - even my trusty hacksaw couldn't handle that task. To secure it in place for cutting, I recommend using 3.5mm x 20mm countersunk screws that can be sunk into a bench or a piece of wood, providing a stable base for accurate cuts.
