Saw Blade, Dado, and Router Bit Height Gauges
thingiverse
I liked the height gauge created by Michael_O, but it was missing the 5/8" and I use that measurement a lot, so I redesigned it to go up to 2" in 1/8" steps. I just added a router and homemade table to my shop, and I haven't found a height gauge to work with that, or my dado stack for the table saw. I designed the tool to measure up to a 1" wide dado or router bit. If I have enough requests, I may have an idea to add in 1/16" increments to the dado and router design if enough people think that will be helpful. The measurements are pretty dead on, but if you get a little bit of elephants foot or squish on the first layer, it can throw off your depth. Just stand the measurement device upright and rub it on some sandpaper until you get a nice flat bottom, and between the measurement uprights if there is excessive squish.
