Savonius wind turbine mounted on a nema motor. The purpose of mounting on the motor is to be able to generate resistance to rotation by short-circuiting the motor coils. In my case a magnet was mounted on the rotor and a hall sensor was mounted on one of the baffles to measure speed and turns. This data goes to an Arduino board with an RTC clock module and an SD memory where the data is recorded for further study. In addition, a small 10w solar panel was connected to record the input voltage every 5 minutes. With this device I measure the solar and wind energy capacity of my land. 8 Deflectors 1 BaseBottomMotor 1 TopCover 1 LowerBearingBushing 1 UpperRollerBearingBushing 1 CenterRotor 1 CentroRotorTor (Optional to CentroRotor) 1 MotorCover 2 Bearings 685ZZ 1 Motor Nema 17 or similar 1 Nema 17 mounting bracket 1 Screw / Nut 3mm 4 Screws union Bracket / Nema
