Savonius rotor, stackable
thingiverse
One savonius implementation again. Can be customized in FreeCAD. File JHSavonius_both.stl is not meant to be printed. It is for checking marginals in lid. Purpose is to glue lid to bottom part. Used bearing has diameter 22 mm and 7 mm high for 8 mm axle (basic 608 ball bearing). This more on idea level. Things are going to be changed. Height of element is 200 mm, but glueing to bed must be done carefully. Better to split this to two later. I think that height of printed element could be half of it's diameter. So if parameter D (spreadsheet D17) is 300 mm then height could be from 100 to 150 mm. There looks to be parameter update problems to sketches. Formulas are OK but values are updated when sketch is opened. Without opening drawings are broken. Other way is to close saved document and open it again. Example print has two test prints and above is from this drawing (smaller than below).
