I'm attempting to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus or other germs with a device I call the "Savegrabber." This hook-like gadget allows for opening and closing doors without touching the handle, and it also has a tip for pressing buttons in elevators or light switches. The designed surfaces are minimized to keep contamination low. My idea is to wear the Savegrabber on a retractable keychain attached to a belt or bag. I believe if everyone used this device, it could serve as an additional barrier against germs. Printing with PLA is sufficient, and it can be cleaned using alcoholic disinfectant. I encourage you to print as many as possible and share them with others. If you have ideas for optimization, please feel free to do so. The Savegrabber was designed in Fusion360, and I've also provided an STL file. The second version is stronger and was printed with 55% triangular infill. It's been updated to fit handles in public transportation with diameters up to 31mm. You can find this new file under the name "savegrabber_rd.stl." I've uploaded the Fusion360 File for the rounded version, labeled as "Savegrabber_rd.f3d," due to popular demand. Thank you for your kind comments, creations, and remixes! Sincerely, Martin
