Human: Pangolins are on the brink of disaster as they are rapidly approaching extinction. Humans are to blame for this catastrophe, fueled by superstition and greed. Pangolins, peaceful mammals covered in tough, overlapping scales, offer excellent defense against predators in the wild. However, their scales also make them the world's most hunted animal, as people believe that the meat is prized for medicinal properties and the scales can cure impotence. Today, pangolin numbers are dwindling rapidly, with some individuals being hunted only to show off their wealth. These helpless animals are being driven towards extinction by this senseless slaughter. Despite international trade in pangolins being banned by CITES since 2000, and them being listed as protected species in most Asian countries, pangolins remain threatened by smuggling and poaching. The disappearance of pangolins would not be the result we hope to see, but only when strict law enforcement is implemented to punish these poachers and pangolin-eaters will the crisis of extinction be effectively addressed. This is our last chance to save pangolins, and please do not let scientific predictions come true. Pangolin creation has been a challenging task that I have spent a lot of time on. It has undergone at least six revisions before being presented to you. My goal was to create an artwork with both perfect appearance and function. Initially, it was difficult for me to share this work as I fell in love with it from the moment it was completed. At this point, I am eager to let you experience it firsthand, holding and feeling its texture, sound, and various dynamic changes. Enjoy, and I believe you will like it.
