"Save My Ears" face mask head strap
thingiverse
This is a brand-new design for a head strap, built from the ground up. It's significantly narrower than before, allowing for more straps to be printed per job. They also use less plastic overall, making them cheaper and easier to print in record time. I can now produce seven of these within the same timeframe it took me to print six of their predecessors. And with a two-layer print totaling 0.8mm, you can yield between 400 and 500 head straps from a single roll of filament.\r\n\r\nI highly recommend that members of the maker community utilize their printers to mass-produce these essential items. After taking 100 head straps with me to the hospital for surgery yesterday, I realized just how valuable they could be in bulk quantities - my local post office is already using them, as are several restaurants and stores, along with some local doctor's offices and dentist clinics that desperately need them. My printer can hardly keep up with demand. Nursing homes, police departments, fire stations, and EMT services also require a steady supply of these crucial head straps. I'm making them available for free pickup in both individual loose units and packs of 10, and any donations to support the cause will be used to purchase more filament - effectively creating a self-sustaining cycle that keeps these essential items printing continuously.
