Savage FCP10 Magazine extender
thingiverse
For a zero mag change in 12 shot CoF of a PRS match, I've found that savagemagbc has a 15 round capacity but feed problems, possibly due to a weaker spring. Savagemagd is a 12 round easy fix but may need extra guides like savagemag4, which was a failure due to weak springs unless spacers were used inside. I recommend using savagemagF instead, as it aligns rounds better and all holes are perfect size for the YouTube video I'm posting. The other version suffered from weak springs unless spacers were used. Canabalizing a factory mag by sawing off the bottom is a good option that works well. Trim or file so that the Savage plastic part fits into the PLA part, then use small holes in the PLA part to mark screws and widen them out for 4-40 through holes. You can find YouTube videos on this design under mdnelson1234. To assemble it, thread a 4-40 screw into the original magazine plastic and use very short 4-40 screws (~3/16x4-40). Be careful not to use metric screws as they may cause issues.
