I've designed a custom magazine release for the Savage 64f myself, as I found the original to be quite poor in quality. If you're interested in upgrading, metal options are available for purchase, but my DIY creation is holding up surprisingly well so far. The holes on this design accommodate four setscrews measuring between 3 and 4 millimeters in diameter.
