Savage 64 .22 Case Catcher
cults3d
This is crafted specifically for the Savage 64 .22 Rifle. Its primary function is to capture and redirect spent .22 shells downward, rather than ejecting them perpendicular to the firearm, which could potentially hit someone. The intention behind this design is to make clean-up easier; I place a bucket at my feet, allowing the shells to drop into it. To attach this modification to the rifle, one of the existing nuts on the firearm will be used. Adding a washer helps distribute pressure evenly. This is version 6 of the prototype, and it appears to be the intended design. The "all-around beefier" construction makes it more robust. I created this design in Tinkercad quite some time ago as my first functional project. I've been using one for nearly a year now.
