WORST MAGNEET SCENARIO A Sausage-Shaped Fridge Magnet Takes Center Stage This particular capsule toy was one of the unique creations I designed for the BASCHZ LEEGT!! exhibition during Feest Der Leegstand, a fascinating event held in Schiedam back in 2017. The inspiration behind this magnet came from an old sticker on the door that boldly stated "No Food Allowed." This same design also made its way onto a T-shirt that was showcased at the exhibition. As part of the invitation to transform a long-vacant retail building into something new, I took it upon myself to create my own shop for a weekend. With an abundance of leftover materials and references to the space's history, I crafted an immersive experience that allowed visitors to explore and engage with the area in a whole new way. The sausage-shaped magnet also made its debut as one of the Things Of Internet TOIs at the 25th edition of Internet Yami-Ichi, a globally organized black market for all things internet.
