Sauropod feet for furniture

This is a replacement for the old furniture that held a massive cathode ray tube TV weighing nearly 40 kilograms. The original feet were plastic wheels, which, of course, had been deformed and broken by the TV's weight after years of use. These models were created using 3D scans of real fossils from two distinct sauropods: the classic Camarasaurus from the early Morrison formation and the newly discovered Notocolossus from Argentina. Both sauropods are related but not closely taxonomically or chronologically linked. The relationship between these sauropods is comparable to that between humans and early primates, although the structure of their feet and hands does not change drastically between species. To adapt the furniture leg design, SolidWorks was used to create the model, which was then merged and processed with Microsoft 3D Builder.
