Sauna Ladle / Saunakauha
pinshape
This is My Updated Sauna Ladle / Saunakauha Design. I've Tested and Proven This Design in Both Electric and Wood Burning Saunas. I've Explored Different Variants of the Design in Numerous High-Temp Materials, and Found That ABS Is the Only Proven Material to 3D Print This Sauna Ladle. Other Materials Don't Last Long Term, So I Recommend Printing with Good Quality ABS Filament. There Are Three Types of Designs Available in the File Section: The First Type Is a Single Piece 358mm Long Sauna Ladle Suitable for Large 3D Printers That Can Print the Whole Ladle in One Piece. The Second Type Is Also a 358mm Long Sauna Ladle, But It's Designed for Smaller 3D Printers. You'll Need to Print the "Cup" and "Handle" Separately and Then Snap Them Together. The Two Parts Have a Draft, So They Only Slide Together in One Direction. The Third Type Is a Single Piece 283mm Long Sauna Ladle Suitable for Those Who Don't Mind a Shorter Ladle and Want to Print It in One Piece. I Highly Recommend Using Paramount's ABS "Military Khaki" Filament. Print Instructions: I Print This Design on My Prusa I3 MK2.5 Using PrusaSlicer and in an Enclosure. I Mainly Print the "2 Piece Ladle 358mm Long". For the Single Piece Ladle, the Procedure Will Be Similar. For the Sauna Cup: * Use Supports (From the Build Plate Only) with a Overhang Threshold of 40. * Use Layer Editing (0.150mm as Min Layer Height) and Set the Layer Height at 0.15mm Where the Supports Are Generated. * Rest of Layer Height Set at 0.240mm * Infill = 18% For the Sauna Handle: * Use No Supports * Use a Layer Height of 0.240mm * Infill = 18%
