This is a generic 3D model of a sauna sand timer/hourglass. It was modeled and prepared for photo-realistic renderings, close-ups, and CG visualization. The hourglass is ready to be inserted in your scene right out of the box. Meshes: The wooden sand glass timer model is presented as a group of meshes named accordingly. The geometry is quad-based. Vray Materials: As this model was primarily created for Vray render engine (3ds max), the Vray version of the file contains properly configured and assigned materials for the hourglass. Other versions have basic materials, so you will need to adjust them in connection with your particular software. Maps: Two maps are supplied with this 3D mode: wood texture (2K) and sand texture (1K). The hourglass model has basic box UVW mapping. Formats: The original file was created in 3ds Max 2014 with V-Ray materials (2.0 and above). You will receive a 3DS, OBJ, SKP, LWO, FBX, C4D, 3DM, and MAX file (2012 and 2014). If you need any other format, please inquire via 3Docean. Information: All preview images were rendered with V-Ray. You will get only the hourglass sand-timer, not the scenes used for the preview renders. Please also take into consideration that the preview images are the result of post-production, and the look of the product in your scene may differ due to specific settings of your own scene. The product is ready to render out-of-the-box. Note that lights, cameras, and any background objects not described above are not included in the product. The model is clean and alone in the provided files, centered at the origin, and has real-world scale.
