Designing a spoon holder from scratch, inspired by the intricate design of the sine wave spoon rest from Makinit, I focused on adding an "engineering" twist to the concept. The spoon part features a subtle recess to efficiently catch drips and excess liquids, while strategically placed holes and curved lines along the handle enhance its overall lightness. With a few adjustments, you can create this unique spoon holder using 3D printing. Instructions: Print this design with the sides facing up to minimize support material required for printing. Afterward, use acetone vapor smoothing on ABS printed parts to achieve a non-porous surface, allowing easy cleaning and preventing bacterial growth.
