These are for attacking your bowl or plates for adding dip or sauce. *Safe 3D printing materials for food contact (FDA approved)* Ceramics are always a safe bet. PLA without additives is also a popular choice. PET and PETG / T-Glass are two more options you can trust. ULTEM 9085 is known for its safety in food contact situations. Polypropylene is another material that's been cleared by the FDA. Natural grade Nylon 6 & 6.6 (without additives) is also a safe option. PEEK is highly regarded for its safety features. Unsafe 3D printing materials for food contact include ABS plastic. PLA with additives is not recommended, so check your filament source. Nylons with additives are also off-limits in food contact situations. Polycarbonate and high impact polystyrene (HIPS) should be avoided as well.
